Matt, Founder and CEO
Executive Producer~
With 10 years of video production experience, Matt Rutlin wrote, filmed, directed, edited and produced event reels for the nationally recognized Dreams For Kids non-profit organization. DFK’s celebrity athletes serving handicapped kids resulted in his productions being featured on MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News. Executive Director of Dreams for Kids, Andrew Horn said “it’s hard to get across all the different things we do at Dreams for Kids. MattNova Productions distilled an entire day of activities into a compelling five-minute video. We couldn't have said it better ourselves. He was personable and was able to seamlessly transition between interviews with participants, volunteers and parents. He has a knack for asking insightful, deep questions that add depth to each interaction he engages in and captures. We will use Matt's services again in the future and his videos will be with the organization for a very long time. The purpose of these videos is to help us ensure that sponsors would support Dreams for Kids in the future and they loved the clip."
Documentary Filmmaker~
Rutlin is currently producing a feature length documentary, "The Empty Mile" that captures the motivational story of John Chamberlain, a business executive who after his 50th birthday decided to set a world cycling record for the most distance, solo, in one hour. As this story unfolds, MNP is also filming and producing "The Empty Mile, A Weekly Video Series” that has been featured in media news outlets including The Elite Project about the achievements of top performance athletes. Here is what Chamberlain had to say about MNP, “I am thrilled that this quest is being captured. Foremost, it is fun and encompasses the essence of my process. The MNP approach captures my story with integrity and makes even mundane aspects of training interesting. As my story has gone viral, friends have reached out to me from my past cycling and community affiliations. Without these videos, those connections would not have been possible. Thanks to MNP, I’ve been interviewed by nationally published authors and accomplished people I didn't know before. These videos have taken on a life of their own and become marketing tools to spread the word about my quest.”
